The Miss Carroll County Scholarship Organization is searching for young women ages 13 through 28 who currently reside, study, or work full-time in the state of Maryland to compete for the opportunity to become a brand ambassador AND win the title of Miss Carroll County or Miss Mount Airy.
Those who have a desire to succeed academically, personally, and professionally and those who wish to give back to the community through community service initiatives are encouraged to participate. These young women are athletes, dancers, musicians, artists, writers, actors, STEM enthusiasts, chess club participants, and much more! The list goes on!

Founded in 1921, Miss America has become the top scholarship provider for women in the United States. Miss America, along with state and local organizations make available millions in cash and tuition assistance each year.
We are seeking donors and sponsors to assist us with our Annual Scholarship Fund. Your monetary or in-kind scholarship contribution will assist us in awarding thousands of scholarship dollars to our Miss Carroll County and Miss Mount Airy!

The Miss Carroll County Organization is a female empowering organization that proudly offers academic and community-based scholarships for young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, in the performing arts, and more!

Here’s to the next 100 years! In this new “era” of The Miss America Competition, we continue to celebrate women and their unique talents and gifts. Miss America was the first competition to offer a talent category and soon after scholarship awards for young women to be able to go to college and further their education.
